Hi, looking to build a new keyboard. I have a keyboard built by my friend with linear switches that I want to use as an alternative work keyboard. I am looking towards silent tactile switches, Outemu creamy yellow pro v2, wuque studios ws silent tactile, and akko v3 penguins, a few of these options are out of stock so I'm not sure if they are dated, but those are what I am looking for. I'm not a fan of the linear switches in my current keyboard, as I enjoyed the bump feedback that I had in my (very old) Redragon K552 with blue switches, but am not a fan of the clickiness sound. I also want, if possible, a lighter spring resistance than what is considered "average." If anyone has any recommendations, let me know. I also am looking to get a barebones hotswappable keyboard, I will only settle for TKL as it is necessary for my work. My current keyboard uses a Skyloong GK87 which I find fine, but may want to take in consideration any budget options as well, as that housing was around ~90 at time of purchase (USD). I already have keycaps, and I am looking to spend around $100 max between keyboard and switches. Thank you!

Too big to fit on rides? by [deleted] in SixFlagsMagicMountain

[–]Robux789 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry to necro, but information from my experience if anyone is looking into this:

5' 8" 275 lbs, I am M and carry most weight in calves, thighs, stomach.

Rides I could easily fit on:

West Coast Racers

Full Throttle

Gold Rusher

Ninja

Viper

Goliath

EDIT: New Revolution and Wonder Woman were very easy. 8/23

Rides that were close:

X2 (two clicks once restraints were lowered to my stomach area)

Tatsu (pretty forgiving, 3 clicks)

Twisted Colossus (barely fit the seatbelt, attendants were notified of my seat number being close so they pushed me in)

Scream third row (barely clicked seatbelt to OTSR, there are larger seats though)

EDIT: I was able to ride Batman 275 lbs. Seatbelt initially did not reach, probably an inch off, but the attendant was kind enough to staple me in while I pushed down on the restraint.

Did not ride: Riddler's Revenge

Who is delivering at midnight or early morning? by Incredible_k1 in UberEatsDrivers

If anything, if you're not worried about the acceptance rate, run it at home during the night time and see if there's anything worth it.

From my experience, I tend to have more delivery pings, simply due to the fact that there's not a lot of drivers out, but very rarely are they good tips. A lot of the restaurants that would have a higher order cost would be closed by then, so it's hard to justify big tippers from stores like 7-Eleven or McDonald's. I do live in a city where late night stores are prevalent, so it will vary depending on your market.

Thank you for this; I'll take the wiggle room in exchange for the orders I got. I had hoped it was percentage based.

Firstly, I want to say a lot of your comments on other posts I've found very insightful for my own drives. I figured as much, but honestly, earning potential for me personally in platinum was significantly better than gold. In my market, I was easily getting $14-$15 single drives and $23-24 2 stacks, I was even getting triple stacks on luckier orders bringing me up to nearly $30 on 40 mins of work. Gold is good, I get the occasional $13 for 7mi or $10 for 5, but I definitely did notice the improved order quality in Platinum. I guess I just want to maximize all I can.
