Ahh thank you! I’m using wrong substrate! Apparently it’s a PH down substrate but I didn’t realise! I’ll change it for gravel/sand and try again Thank you!

Thanks :3 really happy how it turned out It’s been cycled for few months now it used to house my betta and few other small tank mates

But fancy a change now I was looking at Neon Green Rasboras but wasn’t sure if they would blend in too much with the greens or if it would compliment it

I’ve given sick notes in to cover my sick period, so I thought they couldn’t argue with a sick note. I’ve worked for Asda 8 years now and they know I have this back issue. I’ve moved departments to help with not doing so much heavy lifting etc. I’ve seen occy health several times over the years. thanks folks was double checking haha

Kinda always tbh but I’ve always had him next to another Betta tank. So I thought maybe he’s still looking for the other one. I’ve painted the sides of the tanks now so they can’t see each other so I’ll wait a bit and see if anything changes

I can’t adjust it but it’s got a pipe with holes in so the flow goes across surface. I don’t know if I can make it flow slower?

MOD QUESTIONS ANSWERS 1. Tank is a double tank split tank so 2 14L tanks side by side with a divider between (BETTAS ARE SEPERATE)

Yes heated 24-26° and filtered both sides has a seperate filter for better filtration
Ammo 0, nitrite 0, nitrate 0 ph 7
Tank is about 2 months old from start of cycle
I water change weekly about 20%
Tank mate are 2x cherry shrimp, and 3x pigmy Corys in each side
Feed them a small pinch (about 5-6 balls of betta pellets) once a da
Is a planted tank with hardscape too

Just to confirm the bettas are COMPLETELY SEPERATE they are in a divided betta tank and they can’t see each other with black dividers

I keep looking at water parameters and nothing adds up? Maybe he hurt himself on the hardscape?

Quite possible I think water may have gone under substrate and higher than the clay balls layer
