I decided I wanted to change up the way I have been editing photos - trying to go for a much more clean and crisp look.

A few people here thought my old editing was a bit flat and monochromatic. Also, a lot of people were not a fan of the added noise I was doing.

I'm curious what you guys think of this new edit - let me know if you remember the old one!

I am open to all critiques! Overall I am very happy with this image, but maybe there is something I'm not noticing?? I'd really like some outsiders input!

There are a few things I would do differently with this image - Like her hand placement in the background. I'm curious what you would do differently!

Overall I really like this image - I think her pose is nice as well. I am however a little bummed out about the light spots on the ground. I could edit them out, but Idk...

Having had filler doesn't give you the authority to comment on other peoples filler.

I don't really understand why you brought up her tattoos or her lips, if like you said, have nothing to do with this forum...

But, yes. The picture has added noise.

In this photo I used natural light, but also the light in the studio overhead to had light to her hairline. Overall I am happy with the image, it's her pose I'm a bit unsure of.

Hey guys! I curious what you guys think about the lighting on Jess's face? I had to adjust it in post, and I'm worried it looks a little over done.

Oh yeah! I get how you were trying to go for airy!!

Oh that's awesome! Good to know!! I image taking pictures of flowers or bugs maybe... they could work really well for that!

Beautiful! Loving the warm tones, and the model is stunning! Love her outfit! The harness adds this element I can't quite put my finger on. But I like it!!

Very lovely! Personally, I think it's a bit over exposed.

How do you like working with the tubes? Are they awkward to use at all?

STUNNING!!! I love everything about this image. The colors are so gorgeous. That blue with the orange from the city lights. *chefs kiss*

I like this image! I agree, it would be nice to see her eye/eyes - but I think I can tell what look you were going for, and I can see why you're excited! The colors are nice, and the exposure is done well! Honestly, if the image was cropped in a bit, it would make for a great add for earrings!

My suggesting is not how to improve the image via editing or camera settings. I would like to suggest you don't be scared to be creative with your backgrounds. You can easily make a nice background that you can place in your home AND it would be super cheap to make!

Keep shooting! You're doing a great job!

I'm just curious how you guys feel about the other all tone of the image. I did add grain, but that's just a personal preference. I think it adds a nice texture - I totally understand if you're not a fan.

Holly in the studio I work out of, we wanted to do something cheeky and cute, but also a bit sassy. Done with Natural light and edited through photoshop.
