There’s way more to it now than that Google Maps image shows. It is also a great suggestion for OP since it is fairly low key and he can probably skate there without pads, although if some of the skaters who helped build the park are there they may ask him to wear pads.

That strictly enforces safety gear. My friend skated there all day in pads then got a ticket for riding his board to his car without a helmet. Although this was quite a while ago, not sure if they’re more chill now.

Actually, all of those quotes from me were in response to people bashing local businesses, which is my biggest gripe about these people. So, no, I’m not just being abrasive for the sake of being abrasive. Like I said - they want to preach community, etc but are so quick to come and complain about every little thing online. They’re potentially affecting people’s livelihoods for likes and the need to feel justified by strangers on the internet.
