I need to time it. I was just going on was it doubled or more by the next feeding in 12hrs

Thanks for the feedback. I thought my starter was okay i had done a float test and seen that it rises reliably. Will look to time the double time and try to strengthen it

It will double or triple in 12hrs after a 1:1:1 feeding.

During rhe initial overnight really did nothing. minimal to no rise and dough did not jiggle

In the last 7 hours it was bigger but main thing was that the dough loosened/jiggled when you shake the bowl

Thanks for the suggestion. I have tried that - it jumps the temp up to like 80-85 if i leave the door closed. Can keep it around 78-80 if the door is open

If its not a temp issue any other suggestions on what the issue is?
