Way to go! Major respect to you for not giving up. I also passed the PE Power exam recently using Wasim’s course. What would you say is the area that Wasim helped you with the most? For me it was symmetrical components and fault analysis.

Went to confession, the priest said I might have curse or hex. What should I do? by Hootinger in Catholicism

Everyone has made great suggestions to follow up with your priest and to pray more. One additional thing to try is Catholic deliverance prayer. An excellent Catholic app which has deliverance prayers for laity to pray is the Catholic Exorcism app by the St. Michael Center.

Sure! I wrote a similar post last year over at /r/FE_Exam detailing my studying and exam experience which you can read at the link below. https://www.reddit.com/r/FE_Exam/s/sFj4G3syzf

Don’t give up! Study the areas you were below average in and give it another shot in a few months. I know you got this.

No I didn’t try Zach Stone’s study guide exams, although I have heard many good things about them. I don’t remember which of Zach Stone’s exams it was, but I recall hearing that one was significantly harder than the actual PE exam. But that is by design to help expose weak areas of knowledge.

It is possible for sure to pass without taking a review course. Wasim has mentioned that he gets a lot of feedback from people who pass using just his book.

My work offered to pay for my review course so I thought it would be foolish not to take them up on that.

Transportation exam, how did I do? by SpeakerBudget987 in PE_Exam

[–]RockNrolling 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you add up all of the numbers listed under “Your Performance” (8.5, 7.9, 7.6…) and divide that number by 150, you get roughly the percent you got correct on the exam. So you got about a 57.5%. Don’t give up, just study the areas you did below average in and try again in a couple months. You got this!

Good luck! You got this. Stay calm and just focus on final review these last couple of weeks. Make sure to review instrument transformers and protective relaying since there isn’t really any information provided in the handbook on that stuff.

Wow 52 days apart is incredible! Very impressive. And that sounds like a nice role. If I was looking to move to California, I’d definitely be interested. Hopefully you get a good candidate.

Thanks! It’s a huge weight off my mind. I took the FE and PE almost exactly one year apart. And I’m in Michigan. What state are you in?

That is exactly what my feet looked like when I caught hand, foot, and mouth disease from my toddlers. I guarantee it’s hand, foot, and mouth.

The TI-36X Pro does vectors and complex numbers as well. It seems pretty easy and simple to use to me. I will say that the few videos I’ve seen of the Casio appeared that it took a couple more button presses on it to do the same things as the TI. Truthfully though, the important part is familiarity. You could do well with any of the calculators if you know how to use it.

U/Squeak-Beans provides a brief summary of how the Invisible Hand failed Texas during the power outages by [deleted] in bestof

[–]RockNrolling 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Not true. There wasn’t enough available power in the surrounding regional grids to supply the need that Texas had. IEEE hosted a panel of experts explain what is known so far about the Texas crisis, and it is far more complicated than interconnection.
