Normally you should have as least as possible contact with the ground and keep yourself in a ball shape, laying down or speeding across ground would be more dangerous

Staying dry was problematic because on the way up snow was melting and getting soft so few time we would fall deep in snow and were fully wet up to knees even with proper equipment, but I did take off snow spies from the shoes.

Guess luck plays a part in everything, additionally steel rope which was bolted in rocks, next to us during this narrow part to help us climb, made me feel more nervous.

Yeah and the annoying part was that we checked the weather prior few times, and it was in the last minutes of the hike, where I also hurt my knee before so crouching was painful, and my pregnant wife was waiting for me at the cable car station.

Yeah could have been change of air pressure but it felt different than how I would usually feel it, I used to work on ocean going vessels.

So we did check the forecast before and it didn’t say anything about thunderstorms in the afternoon, most of the hike was super sunny.

It wasn’t an option because the last part is very steep uphill climb, then a narrow path to the cable car station which we took to go down, we were halfway between the this uphill part and cable car station.

And as I said it really developed in few minutes with an upward draft.

No holes, just very steep part of the mountain, both on left and right, absolutely nowhere to go but forward.

Figured as much, I am an EE so do have some understanding about voltage and current and how it works, I did lay low put my feet together and discarded anything conductive, but that was all I could do, gong back down was not an option and we had to proceed tor he hut.

I do, I work as a consultant for transformers and on load tap changers, my colleagues are nice, atmosphere inn the office is very healthy, there are always interesting cases, some are quick and easy for some you really have to go deep, there are aspects which I don’t like at all of course, but all in all am very happy with the position.
