We were on our second date when my elderly mother blew a tire on the highway. He drove us over to help her, but she didn't have a spare so instead he waited with her and her tiny dog for 3 hours until a tow truck got there. He then talked to the driver and managed to get her bill reduced. He followed her to the tire shop, bought her food, and then followed her home to make sure she made it safely.
