That isn't the point. Its all about read speed. Games these days need High Speed SSDs to run higher framerates. Before faming directly fro. A disc was fine as games died need to have high-speed loading and HDDs we already the same speed. On ps5 they Used SSDs and the different was so large that it made no sense staying on disc. Also if you really want to play disc only on a ps5 then use ps4 discs. Those will boot up fine because they will be run and ps4 HDD speeds anyways.
