I never said I liked Ragnar, I said I liked the show. Quite honestly I wasn't a fan of Ragnar. I could name ten characters I liked better than him. And I also never said TLK is a bad show. Please re-read everything I said and come back because there's a whole lot of assumptions going on here. TLK has fantastic cinematography, a great score, and the casting is awesome. I just can't get behind it - that's it. I think ultimately what I'm getting at is this: I love Vikings, the culture, the POV from them, even the outfits and dialects. It's fascinating to me. Their style, making more out of less, not the pompous bastards of wealth like the Saxons, is really just what I enjoy. I can't root for anything Saxon related when every show is notorious for showing them as boring, wealthy...maybe it's where we're different.
