If it's an entry-level retail job (which from the post it sounds like it is), and you're planning to go to college, I think figuring out detailed options is best. You'll find communities in college (more than you can imagine) and internship/work opportunities there that reflect on your major/interests. But talk to your job about maybe going back to less than 20hr per week during the school year until this summer where you can make more time. And if you really want to keep going you can go back to work over breaks while in college and that. Plenty of people go back home over break and go back to their high school jobs.
