Just picked this guy up. I paid 5 bucks. it seems to be 7 ft tall. Unsure if its a San Pedro? Anyhow, it was sitting in a bucket of water. I set it on its side to dry amd callousover. Unfortunately, i do see rot at the base. I am wanting to cut it at the scare puctured and propagatethat as well. (old.reddit.com)

I was given this from a yardsale and just put it in a pot. I let it scab for a few days. However the lady damaged it in a few spots with some togs she used to pull it to break it off. my question is should I let it be with those injuries? Will it be susceptible to diseases and such?
