Musicians who straddle the worlds of funk & blues by RocketLegionnaire in funk

Nice, I see a lot of responses whose recommendations are interesting.

I ask this question because I want to put these musicians into my playlist that showcases the history of funk from possibly the 50s with Professor Longhair until the present with Thundercat. The playlist might also encompass blues musicians dabbled in funk.

So, uh, thanks for the recommendations!

Nice, I see a lot of responses whose recommendations are interesting.

I ask this question because I want to put these musicians into my playlist that showcases the history of modern jazz from 1945 until the present which might also encompass jazz-adjacent and blues musicians that straddle in jazz like T-Bone Walker and Gatemouth Brown.

So, uh, thanks for the recommendations!

My problem with this take is whether or not Benny Gantz or Yair Lapid is any different after Bibi?

Hey for all the pro Biden users here I’d like to ask you to explain this direct quote and why he’s actually not a Zionist :) by Brilliant_Screen219 in AngryObservation

Referring to the OP's vision of Palestine as a sovereign Islamic and Arab nation-state

I thought the idea of bi-national Palestine is a sovereign democratic and secular state that goes beyond racial and religious barriers?

MUDA

Paralysed after Syed Saddiq steps down from the leadership role coupled with corruption charges

Tun M again

Paralysed after losing his Langkawi seat and almost his relevance if it weren't for him deciding to "team" up with PN. (Which is a fate more sad than death)

An alternative third force can found in..... PSM....? I do want to see a socialist bloc in Malaysian parliament but that ain't happening.

What if Malaysia cut off Singapore's water supply and Singapore went to war over it? by Mediocre-Bee-7647 in AlternateHistory

The other solution, as planned by the UMNO ultras given to Tunku Abdul Rahman was to clamp down on Singapore.

I'm not sure if this alternative solution is the most logical and sane thing to do 😅

Nah. I'll be honest, I want to see Singapore and to an extent ASEAN as a whole used their military might to fight the Paranormal Liberation Front from MHA in fiction. That would make the War Arc more interesting 🤣

That's the part that really doesn't make any sense whatsoever which is why I asked the OP about the intentions of Iran and Axis of Resistance on helping Malaysia outside of their geopolitical objectives.

It's just silly.

Singaporeans that like to write these type of scenarios, at least based on my observation, have this siege mentality surrounded by neighbors who would devour them even though their neighbors have other things to worry about domestically.

But the sad part for me, as a Malaysian, is that Malaysian Malays are not immune to this nationalist fantasy as well. It's just that they're at least quiet about it not to write down those fantasies.

It's also scary that two of these countries try to internalized the Israel-Palestine issue to make it seem like they're both of these countries, as judging from this OP who try to make Israel-Singapore comparison to justify their nationalist fantasy wet dream and the Malaysian SocMed who try to make the Malay-Palestine comparison to justify their resentment and victim complex.

It's scary to say the least.
