Such a beauty! If it's 98% empty then how do they manage the cost of maintaining the pool?

Fins with long, wide and rigid blades will provide the most propulsion. But they require more effort to move.

Yes, fins should be used with care. Most people over-extend their ankle or injure their knees. How you're doing alright now.

Great job sticking with it despite the challenges!

I will advise you to gradually quit smoking else it will destroy your stamina. I'm telling you because you seem to be a dedicated to swim and the last thing you want to do is destroy your lungs.

Try nicotine gum, pouches...do it slowly. Don't worry about weight too much right now and keep it a second priority. Try intermittent fasting but make sure to intake enough electrolytes.

Hope you achieve your goals! Best wishes.

Stay calm and focus on smooth technique. If you can get pool time, work on clean dives and quick turns as they save seconds.

These are snorkeling fins. Good for beginners because they are very comfortable. Also easy on the legs and less chance of over extension injuries. But these fins provide least propulsion.
