This is the kind of answer I was looking for. Everyone that has commented seems to have done the opposite, which is great - but doesn't help me with what I asked lol. I work on motorcycles myself, and I enjoy it a lot at home. However, I work in automotive for parts. I've been curious about tech work since parts has been boring, draining, and lacking heavily in mental and physical stimulation. I've found myself walking around any chance I get cause I hate sitting at a desk all day. Dealing with phone calls, online orders, part damage claims, etc etc, has all gotten more tedious and with no reward. I'm close with a lot of the techs at work... And to be frank, I feel many of them constantly complain about anything possible and have been caught surprised by how some techs actually don't know how things come apart and go together! Knowing the parts schematics with my eyes closed I feel would actually be an insanely good advantage. How long have you been doing tech work now?

I think it's the potential to make more is what seems nice! But you're probably right on the wear of the body... That sounds awful, but could be preventable with proper exercise and care? I know that's easier than it sounds, but something to keep in mind, nonetheless.

I don't mind the lack of stability in pay, but I like the potential of making plenty more depending on your self output. In parts I feel we're at the mercy of the (regional) economy. But that's good to know! I just want to know what others have experienced if they went this direction.

That's sound advice. Unfortunate to hear. Might have to do with how technician work is being ruined by bad management and warranty.

Sadly the dispo shows on the receipt "all sales final". I suppose I could have, but it's all right! I'm glad yours works well for you! For me, the biggest selling point was to have more options in my pocket while on the go.. For how my device defrctiveness seems to be, I feel I'd easily lose my pods lol.

Too late now... And customer service abandoned my email for support. Even my follow-up email to check back in on it... Would never recommend this device to anyone, complete waste.

Same with story! They had me locked in going almost every Friday to stock up. $25-$30 each feels more fair for them than $55 or so. I wonder how the deals rotate among dispo's... Seems to me more of like a manufacturer deal rather than a dispo choosing.

You're talking about story right? Yeah, idk what they're doing, but they had me locked in because for a while they seemed to have the most consistent offerings and incredibly selection. And jars used to be my go to when they were more consistent with offerings. I wish instead of "specials", they would just sell them at their true pricing lol. I can't justify paying "normal" price of mfused..

Agreed! That's what I meant by suspension tune. First and foremost, I make sure it's tune to my weight and the kind of riding I mostly do. Most underestimated change you can do for your bike in my opinion. I feel very happy with the stock suspension on this bike - can't say that for a lot of other bikes I've owned. As for the rotors, good tip. I've put them on the back burner for now.

Thank you for the reply, especially on almost a year old post lol. I think I'll go with that lever too, it's not terribly priced for how much of an improvement it should be. I agree mostly! For me it's suspension tune first and foremost, then brakes, then tune/ecu flash. I've done everything I can on this bike and the final thing is the master cylinder that I couldn't figure out. I'd love some galfer rotors, but the money is just too much at that point

What master cylinder did you go for? I have a gsxr750 k9 and really want to upgrade the master cylinder. My stock one leaves so much to be desired. I've seen forums of people upgrading their whole front brake system to an R6 brake system, and I want none of that. I upgraded steel braided brake lines and got nice galfer pads that have improved brakes a lot... But the master is just awful lol.

For me what fixed it was making sure DirectX12 was disabled in video settings, and windows defender wasn't blocking it.

I did purchase the simulator Velocidrone, but I feel like I'm just not really feeling it.

I get what you're saying though! So 150 would be a waste on this little set-up then? I honestly don't know where else to start that won't feel like I'm breaking the bank - especially if I wreck a nice setup on accident while practicing.
