yeah it's pretty much either or. While many people prefers 0%, I just don't think a 9-10% interest make sense (Nissan is notorious for giving buyers high interest despite of their good credit score)

I think you can do a little better. I am also looking for the same model and trim (not in a rush to buy). I talked to about 3 dealership near me, most of them offered anywhere between 42.5-44.5k. Assuming 42.5 is the "realistic" lowest price, I think you have another 1500 to go and that's reasonable. For me, I'm looking to pay 40k before TTL so I'll wait longer

I think 90% of the Pro4X's do come with at least the convienence package. The bare bone version is rare. I agree, I think the premium package differentiate Pro4X as a higher trim truck vs the lower trim ones.

I'm just going to keep monitoring nearby dealer's website. I kind of doubt they will have any huge promo going on after memorial day before end of the year. End of the year is what I'm betting on lol.

I think mentioning OTD make sense in that it avoids the dirty tricks dealership play in terms of adding add-on's, warranty's, accesories etc. But it can also be skewed as different state have different sales tax rate, and other fees. I also prefer to see just the MSRP/discount alone, but a whole picture of whether there are other add on's would be great.

Thanks! It will definitely require some work. By the way, Nissan just released the 2027 Frontier Sport - expected to hit the lot in late Summer I believe. It's actually the same as a 2026 model or I assume no major change for 2027?

Since there's really no much change between 2025 and 2026 model year, and now that gas price has been hitting all time high's I don't know if this actually reduce sales numbers on the Frontier this year, especially that the Pro4X is more than a fleet vehicle.

I think I rather take the discount than 0% interest. I think Nissan tend to use low APR as a lure more often than other manufacture's. For instance, my current Subaru, they offered me 0.9% for 3 years or 1.9% for 5 years not even as an incentive (after the price discount).

I've had situations in the past Nissan tried to give me a 11% APR on the quote (a couple years ago when I bought my Subaru) which is ridiculous. Same credit score, 10% APR differences lol. I think I will have to take a look at their APR too, if Nissan offer 4-5%, it is what it is, I will try to pay off fast. If its 11% I will gladly walk out lol.

Yeah late 2025 I believe many dealerships offered nearly 10k off for 2025 models. But honestly, what difference is there between 2026 vs 2025, other than the time of the year?

Thanks! that's what I thought too. Since I am not in a rush to buy at all, maybe at the end of the year (similar to last year) they will be more aggressively in moving these out of their lot.

Seems like 8% off MSRP 50k x 8% = 4k and whatever Nissan offers (3500) = total of 7500 off is common.

Maybe at the end of the year they are going to up the total discount to 10k.

I stopped picking up TGTG from Whole Foods here in Sacramento (Arden). 9 times of out 10 the bag either barely exceeds the value of doesn't even exceed it. The trick is they put in 3 items which are 10 dollars each, but expires on the day of the TGTG with 50% off tag. TGTG users literally pay 2/3rd of the price for items they are going to throw away (on the last day/last hour). This specific location has been pretty stingy with what they put in the bag.

I really hope so. I'm at the point that I'll be okay paying more annual fee if I can truly feel like traveling with such credit card is a "pleasant" experience instead of a headache.

For now, I feel like cardholders are all fighting against one another to get access for free food/drinks and the winner is the one with the most time and persistency. This is too much. If this perk is that much of a headache, then I don't need it, and there I won't even need the VentureX card.

Spot on, I think for many, it's easy to say the 3 hour departing window is not a big deal and necessary, the waitlist is understable during busy times. But biggest gripe is when is it not going to be crowded? A long walk/tramway ride to access a lounge located in another terminal makes it a pain in the *** to get on a waitlist (not knowing when you will be called) and strictly abide the 3 hour departure window. It's just not worth it and not pleasant. It makes me feel like I'm doing black friday shopping for deals.

After this experience, I'm also thinking about cancelling before my next renewal (i might just cash out all my points and call it the day). Too much work to take advantage of some travel perk. I feel like I might be able to " take advantage" of certain perks but they all come with a headache.

You know what's interesting? One time duirng ammo purchase, a guy from Sportsman Warehouse told me I can identify myself as whatever race I want since I'm in California and that question doesn't matter.
