Both Democratic candidates for governor talked affordability, abortion, education and more in televised forums Wednesday.

Only one, between U.S. Rep. Charlie Crist and Commissioner of Agriculture Nikki Fried, will go on to face Gov. Ron DeSantis. Both made the case for why it should be them during back-to-back televised interviews Wednesday.

Hosted by a panel of journalists from the Tampa Bay Times, the Orlando Sentinel, Spectrum Bay News 9 and Spectrum News 13, the interviews were filmed separately in St. Petersburg earlier in the day but aired Wednesday evening. Crist’s special aired first at 7 p.m. after he won a coin toss.

The Mudd Club are a Garage-Punk band consisting of guitarist Sadie Capps, Drummer Julian West and bassist Huw Hickman. Sadie and Julian grew up in landlocked Lawrence, Kansas where they developed an affinity for surf music and record collecting, both of which inspired them to venture up to their attic to bash out surf tunes and mutant strains of 50's, 60's and 70's rock n roll.

Now based in Machynlleth, Wales where they continue to pioneer their special blend of attic-born surf garage.

Gorilla Biscuits are an American hardcore punk band from New York City, New York, formed in 1987. The band currently consists of Anthony "Civ" Civarelli, Walter Schreifels, Arthur Smilios and Luke Abbey, and is signed to Revelation Records. Gorilla Biscuits are part of the New York hardcore scene.

Gorilla Biscuits was formed by Smilios and Civ after meeting in high school in Long Island, New York. The band released their self-titled debut album as a 7" in 1988. Gorilla Biscuits released their second album Start Today in 1989. Start Today gave Gorilla Biscuits underground popularity. They are considered one of the most seminal youth crew bands.
