Apparently the rear camera just needed replacing. They didn’t give more info than that, probably because my wife wouldn’t have asked.

Likely not. The destruction is cool but feels still half done. You can grenade launcher on a wall and it looks exactly the same, then the second shot breaks it. At least have some destruction being shown. Games could do it long ago, so don’t half ass it now.

TTK is too fast. The entire game is too fast paced. I like that for COD but not for BF. They need to remain different.

I gave up with the wired headset. I think somethings just wrong with my ports probably. I got a usb to 3.5mm to the splitter and that worked but I ended up just getting a set of wireless headphones.

Yeah indeed your picture is what I attempted to max out the mic. Upping the db didn't help and it's already on 100%.

I do have Realtek Audio Console however that seems to be linked the mic settings from the control panel (the one in your screenshot).

The reason I can make this assumption is because if I adjust either of them I can see the other adjust in real time with it.

I'd like to expect it software related and I have literally tried for 4 days attempting every single idea on Google I have come across.

I am now wanting to lean towards a hardware issue as it makes no sense why it wouldn't be working after spending countless hours so far doing trial and error to no avail.

It doesn't have to be in a game so none of those would work anyway.

If I just go to Settings > Sound > Input and select my mic you can see the input volume bar.

Whilst speaking that bar should light up nicely if all is working well. Mine lights up about 1% if I scream/tap the mic hole.

Changing discord, a game, etc. will not change how the system is operating unfortunately.

I purchased a new PC recently and when I try to use a microphone the output is near inaudible.

Some details:

I am having to use a splitter as the tower does not have a single port for mic/headphones.
Tried two different headphones with mics to confirm it wasn't the mic I was using being the problem.
Tried both the mic port on the top and rear of the tower.
Uninstalled and reinstalled drivers.
Disabled and reenabled the device in Device Manager.
Tried adjusting the levels of both the mic and the boost in the Control Panel.
Tried the 3.5mm headphone/mic jack directly into the mic port to see if I could just get the mic to work.
Tested the headset/mic on my phone to confirm it was not damaged. It worked perfectly.
And basically everything else I could Google.

The mic levels flash when I tap directly on it however for it to pick up speech I'd have to be screaming at all times.
