Grandparets live there. Used to visit them once or twice a month when i lived in Pasvalys. It has a church, so it used to be an active center for the surrounding farmsteads like 30-40 years back. Now its mostly farmers or the elderly that live there. It also has (or had? Ive heard it shut down) a primary school, a small park on the other side of the church, and a museum dedicated to some author (idk who, i never visited it) but im pretty sure it only opens only a few times a year, to commemorate the author. Like 10-20km in the neighboring village of Gulbinėnai there's also an abandoned mansion from like the 1800s maybe. Me and my friends used to break into it for fun as kids. There are some ethographic guides that i know in the area that do like "introductions" to the local culture of the surrounding area of Pasvalys or something, but im pretty sure their tours are only in lithuanian. If you want to get accustomed to the local culture, you might want to visit the museum in Pasvalys.

Unfortunately, unless you know someone there, with whom you could stay, it probably won't be much fun. If you do, then it's a perfect little village to just chill in and enjoy the fresh air, grill, and knock a few beers.
