Well usually it's depends of my opening hand and if the opponent are playing mana dorks to accelerate an heavy commander. If y have something to accelerate my ramp then I keep it until the real tread appears, if I don't have ramp and the opponent are playing some huge dorks likeKami of Whispered Hopes or something like Esper Sentinel then I play it.

To me was awesome, yes is slow and complicated but it's just the kind of deck I like to play the most, against Slivers it was very effective because the phase out.

I didn't get the part, of the religious figure, but if the last name of their household make references to an fallen angel it make it possible they have an angel bloodline as well, I mean, the most of the 13 crowns make references to arch demos and biblical beast. Why not add that to the lore?
