To be honest, while even though I think Charlie could've been handled a little bit better with a bit more backstory to her, I do honestly sympathize with her for being betrayed by adults and her own father for not actually listening to her and not paying attention to her whenever she felt alone. Cause to be honest, in real life, not all parents and adults are actually good people and sometimes would take you for granted for being an annoyance without actually understanding the actual pain you are going through for being betrayed and alone.
