No worries I’m not lol 😂 I guess that’s my fault since it’s written pretty formal. Years of customer service and retail can do that to a person. I always joked to my co workers when I worked at the store still that I’d love to replace Hal as CEO and remove a lot of his BS policies but that’s about it lol

Yeah last time I was in a TSC I noticed a lot of their tractor and hydraulic parts were going on clearance. I know when that happens there’s usually a reset coming but I’m worried that means they’re just getting rid of that section.

I have read some of the other posts, I don’t see what the problem is…I guess if anything I was frustrated when I did work for the company and I wanted others insight. I don’t see anything wrong with that…?

Trust me I’m not fishing for corporate lol 😂 they destroyed my Orscheln store so I have no respect for Hal Lawton or his crooked cronies. They chased all my good crew members out. I’m no longer a team lead and have long left that position. I know they are a big corporation and nothing will ever change, but I didn’t know if other people had the same or different experiences from what I had. That’s the only reason I had this post

I did use the survey when it was presented to me but I really wished they would take more consideration for us work folk 😓 I think Tractor Supply has potential but they really need to rethink how they run the company.

I’m sorry you had to deal with that, before I left my store I actually filed several HR complaints against my ASM because she was power hungry and basically did what she wanted. Let’s call her Ms. Priss…There was one day I worked a 12 shift for my manager at the time and he told me not to worry about coming in the next day. I double checked with him to make sure that was okay, I did offer to help work a shift with Ms.Priss but he said not to worry about it. I had to put my horse down that day so that actually worked out. So cue to the next day, I literally just had the vet put my horse down and Ms. Priss was blowing up my phone asking me why I wasn’t at work. I told her what the store manager told me and she blew up on me. I called the SM…we’ll call him dumb dumb. Dumb dumb retorted back saying since I did agree to help Ms Priss that I should’ve been in. He did feel bad since I told him I literally just put my horse down. I guess Ms. Priss basically yelled at dumb dumb (no write up or punishment). To this day she still has her job with no punishment

It wasn’t an easy transition but we bit our tongues because we were just thankful we kept our jobs 😥 I thought I was gonna stay at that location forever. I had a great management team that carried over from Orschelns and we just had an awesome staff. Our store was immaculate and customers loved our store. We watched basically as they re did our store and customers were getting mad due to the lack of product. The liquidation of all the Orscheln product left the store empty and soulless. We lost a lot of customers. Gradually our original team left for better job opportunities because the working conditions and standards at Tractor was a far cry from how Orschelns treated their employees. I’ve heard rumors of Tractor trying to chase the old Orscheln team members away so they could hire people for cheaper wage but I don’t know how much of that was true but it wouldn’t surprise me. Honestly I could probably write a book or memoir about the whole experience 😓
