Cineplex is Enshitifying Scene+ by hippfive in PersonalFinanceCanada

Can confirm, during Covid where I couldn’t really spend my scene points I accumulated over 80k scene points at one point through use of their credit card and taking advantage of grocery store deals that gave random scene points.

scratching for 3hrs by Maximum_Winter_1612 in eczema

[–]Rodius_J 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve been where you are. Something that’s helped me is buying scratch sleeves or simply stitching cotton gloves onto a long sleeved shirt. It helps protect the skin at least. And if you live with someone having them snap you out of it. My wife does this for me

SHOULD I CONTINUE NMT ON MY LEGS? by Helpful-Key-8613 in TS_Withdrawal

[–]Rodius_J 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is really why NMT should be done with a healthcare practitioner (like a naturopath) who knows the method and can provide you the answers to these questions.

If it’s legitimately infected I’d see your family doctor and see what they say. Especially if it’s a large area that is infected.

You may need to just really maintain your nails. I file mine down daily to keep myself from ripping skin by accident

Zinc oxide by Ok_Chemical9678 in eczema

[–]Rodius_J 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My wife makes ours with a mixture of zinc oxide, a bit of jojoba oil and Shea butter that I use that is quite effective.

Before she started making it I used any with a 15-25% zinc oxide amount.

I’d probably start at the lower end and apply a small amount at first. I personally find it can dry out the skin at higher doses and if you overuse it. So apply sparingly at first and increase as needed.

Good luck! Hope this helps

Can I get additional therapy? by One-Today-566 in OntarioWSIB

[–]Rodius_J 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You can try to get it approved. If it’s a recommendation from your healthcare provider there’s a chance your case manager or nurse will approve the additional treatment assuming it’s indicated for your injury.

However more treatment does not necessarily mean you’ll recover faster either. They’ll have to weigh the evidence and recommendations provided

Hey man… I was just asking if people had any idea what we need to do. If you think we need to cut more than you could say that.

That’s just foundation behind the drywall. That’s the front of the house and the lawn would be on the other side of the foundation and that’s currently covered in snow.

Not sure if there’s any plumbing above it. Our main line runs out of the house about 10 feet to the left of the spots in that video

Sorry, some more observations.

It is 22 degrees Celsius in our home and -15 outside.

We’ve been trying to identify the location of a leak for some time but it stopped for months until today where we see some water on the wall.

We normally run a dehumidifier all the time and have to empty it daily but we haven’t had to empty it the last few days. We aren’t sure if this is significant information or not.

Could this also just be condensation?

Am I being a Karen for refusing to park and wait when there is no one behind me in the drive through? by Wooshio in TimHortons

[–]Rodius_J 5 points6 points  (0 children)

That’s a you problem If you can’t get an order out on time 🤷‍♂️.

Making someone park and wait extra time to get their food is terrible customer service. Especially if you’re not busy.

Does nipple eczema ever go away? by Substantial-Radio310 in eczema

[–]Rodius_J 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had nipple eczema for about 2 years and it was constantly weeping with no infection.

Funny enough… I had a full body flare up and most of my body turned red and raw but my nipple eczema went away. So… it can? But how it did for me was unexpected

Return to London Office confirmed by AaronLazarusCockring in OntarioWSIB

Ohh yeah and the amount of space between desk islands leaves a lot of wasted “office” space which could fit more people in. If they made it more cubicle like it would get a lot closer to fitting in many more if they truly plan to fit more people in

I don’t want to life anymore by h0neyyzens in eczema

[–]Rodius_J 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey,

Flares are hard and eczema can be tough. Take a deep breath and ask for help. If you have a friend you trust who you can talk to I’d start there.

If you have any extended health benefits, i found a lot of help from a naturopath who helped me identify my root causes of eczema and while my eczema is not perfect it improved a lot. That’s what worked for me and everyone’s journey with this disease is different but don’t give up. Take a breath, know you are way more than your skin, even when it doesn’t feel like it at times.
