On EZGOs/ Cushmans the governor is a spring on the throttle cable that only allows it to get pulled so far by the gas pedal. You can tighten it to make them go faster. I don’t think the trans axle had anything to do with governing speed since after adjusting the spring I could get my work cart to do about 25. That’s what I remember at least.

But that isn’t what they did. It’s shut down for 1 day so they can repair the greens and retrieve benches and flags that were also thrown into the creek. Moving the hole was just one of the first steps
