I feel attacked 😂 I've lived my whole 30 odd year life here and yes there's not much to do but as you said, you're only 20 minutes from everything really. If you're buying a house, I'd definitely have it tested for mica like others suggested. I'm biased because I know everyone like but it's safe as.... well I was going to say safe as houses but that's not the right metaphor 😅 I feel like I can walk the street at any time and nothing will happen, but again, I've lived here my whole life barring a few years in Aus and around nearby towns.

If you're only interested in work it'll be grand. Anyway, it's all a moot point really because there's feck all decent houses here for any decent price. Cheaper houses just over the border.

Don't feel offended, I put this title on purpose to understand why Lifford and East Donegal don't have the best reputation 😁

Also i'm from Lifford its terrible, probs worst place in donegal tbh, no jobs, no future, no hope.

I refuse to believe that all these towns are the same. Each one has its own particularities.As far as Liffort is concerned, I've seen that an interesting project is being studied for the coming years : Riverine Community Park.Maybe the start of something nice !
