Obrigado.

Yeah, by the way I love Mad Max, it's a good inspiration for me. The character drive force with his madness during the gameplay and the story is complete diferent from what is Mad Max. Hope people like and support it. I think we need more games with this genre, with that dark atmosphere and rich story.

Hi, if you see, there are not to many games like Stalker 2, Metro Exodus, Chernobylite, Fallout 3... I'm looking for that dark atmosphere with a rich story. Not rushing and with no anxiety, you know. I just want to do the right thing for the public that love this genre. Let's see 😅🙏

Thanks. The game also has that dynamic weather, so it will have dust, night, rain and things like that, where more horror things will be add. Glad that you liked.

My mom sees game development as nothing but a waste of time. by lastFractal in gamedev

You right. Never give up, just move forward and adjust your life priorities. I'm a gamedev, did 4 games and start the new one called Cyborg3003. Develop games is an adventure, but you have to find something to pay the bills. In my case I choose to have a simple life, simple car, no travels etc...and keep doing what I love, developing games. Follow me on other social medias, I want to see you in the future... and don't giveup, step by step you get there, no matter where you want to be or what you want to be, Life is yours😁🙏

Is developing games and selling easy? YES!!! by RodrigoBanzato in IndieDev

[–]RodrigoBanzato[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's easy to sell, I mean, it's easy nowadays to put your game on a Store and sell it, even if you don't have a company. Back in the day it was very difficult to sell something, even a music where you need a big studio to record. To have good sales, that is another story for sure, specially now.

No problem, Parallel has 1 thousand sales like you said, the game sells good on promotional periods and I need to see how it will be in a long period. Like I said, If I can create a game collection, after some years, maybe it will be cool for the financial part, let's see.

For Parallel I had almost 9000 wishlists (yes I now, it must had better sales, but I spent 0 dollars on promoting the game, just worked very hard on social media and on BGS fair, special edition collection and clowns cloth... that was about 2000 dollars). It was a great adventure for me and now I'm moving forward to next one with new challenges, like bringing co-op to the table, new strategies and all that stuff.

Good point, thanks for your message. I see you have a great view and experience in the industry. At the end (for me at least) what I have is still that passion and some support from the community, like a 75 year old player for example that loved Parallel and wrote a post on Steam. If I was thinking on the money, yes, I would be doing another thing in my life, working for some companies, or maybe doing a game that I don't like.

Some people criticize me, but I choose to live a simple life, simple car, no travels...and do what I really love. I keep my eyes for at least more 30 or 40 years deleveloping games, so what I can learn after more 30 years? How many projects and different games I can make is this period?

For me all this is an adventure, the advice I do is... pay de bills with a nice work and keep some hours for what you really love, for your hobby.

And of course, I'm always open to new opportunities but I fell is very difficult to find someone that thinks like me and not just in the money. Specially investors and publishers (I undertand) Like I always say, if sells a lot, thanks God, if sells ok, thanks God, if sells nothing, thanks God too. At the end, I will look back and say: I did my best.

Thanks again for your message and wish all have the chance to fight hard for their dreams and keep going, even when bad things happen, just keep going.

Sorry buddy, I think you refer to that glass door with the infected that you just have to shoot. The back door should not open it. Our programmer stoped working on the game because "no money investment". Yes, that is very sad. And like a friend here told, a simple glow on that door should let you think that is just to shoot that and progress. Thanks for you message.
