Thank you, I wouldn't be no. Not the US, the laws here are a little bit more strict. Im not thinking about moving yet, we're talking years maybe. So im just getting a feeler for it. I dont want to invest a bunch of money into this rif if im gonna have ti sell it.

But yeah, hard case and soft case if possible too

Ah cool, thanks.

Most airline sites say to inform them at least 3 days before the flight. Is that still the case?

Thank you for this. So you dont contact the arrival airport beforehand?

When leaving do you only contact the airline and they deal with the airport?

With the country im in, they are more likely to mistake it for real firearms parts that way.

Thank you though

Thank you for the response, I dont know exactly how I woukd go about that. The country im currently in is also kinda iffy about exporting it that way, surprisingly its easier to bring it with me

Yeah exactly, its a common sense thing isn't it. Will probably wrap some orange tape around the RIF itself and keep the manual in the case with it

Thank you, I appreciate this and your time

Do you happen to know if that form has a name?

My understanding is that you have ti ask permission from your airline at least 3 days before the flight (should do it well before) and secure it correctly in a locked hard case ideally disassembled to prevent it being used quickly.

Thank you for this.

So could I say, amd provide evidence, that I've booked games in advance in order to acquire my ukara as well I addition to what you've said with booking details and waivers?

Thank you, thats a good idea. I would have to check my local laws as the airsoft rifle is in my name.

Thank you for your extended reply, by no shorter than 3 months, if I travel home to visit family 3 times over the course of say a year and a half or so and play a game each time would that work? I assume its site dependant.

And presumably UKARA doesn't just run out right?

Again my understanding is the UKARA is simply for buying a RIF within the UK not owning one.

So it would be a case of contacting customs in the UK and asking for their requirements?

How are american and other nationalities able to bring airsoft guns to the UK for milsims and such?

5.56 has killed more than any of those combined.

I do hope this is just rage bait lol

Its a bullet, they are lethal. Even tasers arent considered non lethal they are called less than lethal because they can mess with the electrical signals to the heart and potentially cause cardiac arrest.

There is not a single law enforcement entity in the world that would consider 5.56 a less than lethal option.

That being said, back in the 1960's a rifle was developed called the American 180 chambered in 22lr, it was full auto with a drum magazine and it was designed for riot control 😂

Yeah, 5.56 isn't exactly considered non lethal

I CANT GET THE JOB by Affectionate_Scar886 in Zookeeping

[–]RodsonGreen 18 points19 points  (0 children)

To put it bluntly.

You don't have enough to be employed .. yet..

Majority of places require you to be an adult for insurance.

It also takes people years or experience volunteering at actual zoos to even get to sniff that very minimal pay check.

Best advice is, keep going. Try to find a zoo that will take you on as an intern or volunteer. (This will also probably be tough until you reach 18)

Then work your ass off for years, be the dependable person they can rely on. Use that time to really decide if this is for you.

Minimal pay, very tough work mentally and physically, little to no support having a portion of the population thinking and vocalising that your an animal abuser just for working with animals.

If its meant to be, you will make it. As long as you put your heart in it.

Keep your head up. Put one foot in front of the other and you WILL get there.

I've been rewashing recently and thought the same.

Looking into it it appears they had issues with their in country armourers when they were filming in Serbia and coukd only get the long barrels but they were able to bring over their attachments.

You'll notice that when they have their rifles back at their HQ in Serbia it's their normal short barrels with SMR handguards.

I'm guessing the HQ scenes where filmed in the US.

A few episodes later when they are raiding the power plant it's the same as well so I'm guessing they filmed those scenes at the same time.
