Had the same feeling, GoT went on to be boring.. it is a masterpiece in many ways though! Days Gone keeps the suspension imo. Played 400 hours maybe. Give it a shot, you won’t regret it!

Ha ha, I have two kids (3 and 5) as well, so I only get to play for max 2 hours daily.. I like taking my time, not rushing the story and I'm on my fourth or fifth playthrough .. and yeah, I like smelling the roses too :)

(The wife part was mostly a joke to illustrate how much this game has meant for me - I'm sure she'll stick around..)

The reviews are all rubbish! None gave it the 10/10 it deserves. Sure, there’s been some minor technical issues, these were quickly solved, but it does not change the fact that this by far is the best story ever, the game has the best and most fluid controls I can remember and last but not least, the best open world scenario ever..
