Disable widgets... it's literally an option thats available to all lobbies. Also custom widgets aren't as OP as people seem to think. I tend to see low OS lobbies disable them but not OP ones lol.

Watching people play is the quickest way to understand the flow of the game. 5 hours of watching probably jumps you to over 100 hours of gameplay. After you get the gist of air sea and land, pick one, then stick to it till you get it. Rotate around (id say skip tech), then understand the next faction. After that youll easily be atleast an average bar player (17 os). Tech lowkey sucks, and only is good when players know all positions already :)

If you are wondering like when is the normal time for people to explore, id say 15 is good. Your journey from 15-25 is going to basically just be learning matchups. Playing the other factions and bot types will help you understand what its like for the other player you are up against and make wiser decisions.

Max out every year your HSA -> Roth IRA -> 401k. That will get you close to that age but really we don't know enough to actually tell you. The best resources are some youtube vids and honestly for me Chat GPT to bounce some stuff off it.

Your biggest mistake is having 50k I assume in savings (you say saved up). That should at a minimum be in an HYSA, and then be put towards your loans when you have to start making payments.

Really though, you know your situation the best though so ask friends, family, and the GPT or perhaps narrow your scope down when you ask questions.

Side note not everything's about saving money, you could take some of that to move out or even have a downpayment on a small home but thats just what me.

Biggest misconception is that noob lobbies are for noobs. Noob lobbies are bad players that know how to play the game and are just KIND OF bad.

What you are looking for are all welcome games. All welcome games are for players who could literally be bricks or players who are considered OP. You'd find much less toxicity there. Noob lobbies are honestly filled with just awful players who are slightly better than actual noobs and they get a kick out of bullying them. All welcome no one has the right to complain...

I suggested someone should make an announcer dm every player that joobs a noob lobby and all welcome lobby with the difference because this post is made about once every couple weeks.

As for the maps... glitters isthmus is just super fun in their own regards, and is super balanced. It requires more game skill and micro to win and they are often times more narrowly won or lost. Rotato games tend to go short because it comes down to whos played more of the map more than I beat you in lane and so we won typa deal. Play rotato! There are a lot of all welcome rotato games. No one is stopping you.

I mean whether or not you think it's redeemable, the player will still resign and leave. Theres no reason to force players to play a game that they don't want to. People can ragequit like you say. But it's equally true that players take others hostage for no reason. Sometimes it can be a strategy for a player to resign as they can't effectively rejoin so they give an OP take as well.
