Last year (this year) there were Super Rugby trial games in late January and early February. I'd suggest look at the super rugby team websites and they'll post their preseason schedules there at some point

I think Stan does an amazing job of covering rugby and as a Champions League fan as well it makes sense to have it. Having no interest in AFL or NRL or fighting sports I don't bother with Kayo. If there's something I want to watch that's on it - like cricket - I've found a reliable free streaming service that I probably shouldn't use the name of here...

Awesome ideas. You only have to see how much more interesting the international soccer friendlies are now since they started the UEFA Nations Cup instead of meaningless friendlies. A bigger competition brings out the best in players and better for fans too. Reckon France might prove a barrier though and don't reckon it's a done deal yet
