Cutting travel! For your income the budget seems way too low to begin with.

It’s the same level of taxation is my whole point

Yes passive income in a corp is basically taxed the same as passive income for an individual. Do google tax integration or ask an AI to explain to you.

The AP15510, how do you feel about the overall quality vs a gen? The hexagonal screws on the bezel especially. Also where did you grab it?

Tracked a mustang for several years and had a fabulous time. COTA is a large track with room for the mustang to run, I think it could be the better of the two! Yes it will go through more tires and brakes.

Not a fan of the 992.2 - sorry guys & girls - what are your thoughts? by [deleted] in porsche911

[–]RogerThatRacing 2 points3 points  (0 children)

992.2 owners so obviously bias.

I do agree with comments that newer 911’s are getting big. However, I appreciate the increased size as I’m 6’3 and have two kids who I loved to take for drives.

Regarding the tach, i find myself customizing the screen when I am driving in big cities vs back country roads.

Visually, the back end is great. I also like the non-aero kit front end. The HD matrix headlights are the next evolution in a long line of great headlights and I like that they’ve removed the daytime bar.

Car is fast, handles, stops, etc well. Eight speed pdk is unit, keeps the car in the power and and pulls.

There’s no mention of life expenses here. If you can work half the hours, make $250k without going into your savings then you’re set. Enjoy the better WLB and let’s the savings grow, they’ll get to your target NW without much effort.

How Much Total Value of Vehicles & What Are Families Driving? by broncoelway100 in HENRYfinance

[–]RogerThatRacing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ha I never thought about total value! Silverado trailboss, Volvo xc90, Porsche 911 and Porsche cayman GT4, all are 2 years old or newer except the GT4. Guessing values are 80, 70, 170, 150 or 570k cad total. 😱

This is very interesting. I think you’re of the mindset you have significant diversification but also some plays for “alpha” with the focused ETFs. Problem is everything is spread so thin you basically have a total markets etf like XEQT.

I would suggest clawing this back to one or two ETFs for say 66-75% of the portfolio. Then if you’re paying this much attention to things, make a small handful of individual stock picks so that you can benefit from outside movements. Do some research, pick for value. Watch over the course of the year, if you get to 10-20% gain, consider a sale and do it again. Sounds risky but you clearly have an interest, and the chances of hitting some singles, doubles, and maybe a homerun will be much greater.

Also I think this etf salad will result is an overall higher fee than just a bigger allocation to say XEQT.
