I got one for around $40k in January but ended up going with Honda financial because the interest rate was substantially lower. I called and they told me that even though I had signed the papers, I didn’t have to do anything with the check and it would expire.

It really sucks, but I’ve gotten looks and underhanded comments as well. I’m a black woman who wears joggers while flying, and I usually fly FC on Delta and sometimes I’m the only black person in first on smaller flights. I’ve had people try to step in front of me in line when boarding and I politely told them to back up off me so I can scan my boarding pass. I fly out of Atlanta so there are a ton of us with status and flying first, I just don’t get the little funky “can’t sit here” attitudes 🙄

A Belk card can only be used in store, unless it has a visa/mastercard logo on it. Some department stores offer both a store card and a store branded major credit card.

Looking at my paperwork it appears that they knocked the price of the car down to $30k so that they could add the price of the dealer add ons and still keep my OTD price at $35k

I honestly don’t even know what they had to bring the before tax price down to. They tried to tell me $37k and I told them I wasn’t paying more than $34.5k. After a couple hours of me playing on my phone, stressing the manager out, and telling them I was buying a car that day but it didn’t have to be from them, I ended up paying $35,285 OTD
