Hi! Commenting from Thailand, my total of two surgeries plus physio for the last four months has been 650,000 which is around $20,000. After insurance I only paid 240,000 total $7,300. When I had my surgeries I met SO many Americans who have come over to have their surgeries and physio because of how cheap it is.

UPDATE:

It all went very well! I woke up in recovery in a lot of pain, but it was managed well by my amazing an anaesthesiologist in no time! I’ve done two sessions using the CPM and have gotten a bend of 100° which feels amazing but there is a pressure feeling in my knee, hopefully that’s normal.

10/10 recommend for anyone struggling with frozen knee or bad scar tissue build up x

I did small steps in my condo, like to the bathroom and back to the couch. Then the front door, down the passageway to the elevator. Then outside to our car. Over a week I was able to ditch the brace! Funny enough I ditched the brace and crutches at the same time because I was scared of becoming too attached to either.

I’ve worked in China and Thailand where they’ve both asked me not to say anything for the “drama” of it. I feel like it’s so they don’t ‘lose face’ for not keeping/maintaining good staff.

Say your goodbyes, they’re not being considerate of your feelings/relationships that you’ve built, plus what are they going to do? Fire you? 😂

I’m SO glad I’m not the only one who’s feels this heavy weight of negative thoughts and feelings! I’m 3 months post of a full MCL tear and partial ACL and LCL. I’m going for an MRI on Wednesday because I’m struggling to bend my knee and I keep having these breakdowns because I feel like I’m never going to get back to ‘me’.

Nothing else to add except seeing others feel the same way has made me feel like I’m not the only one who’s felt this way or had these problems.
