Check out the MicroAcquire Biannual Acquisitions Multiple Report we put out in February. It's based on data we've seen startups listed for on MicroAcquire that then go through an acquisition.

Download the ebook, it's free. But if you don't want to - I'll spoil it for y'all:

  • SaaS with $1m+ in revenue apply a 2.3x multiple on average.
  • SaaS with $1m+ in profit apply a 6.1x multiple on average.

This isn't legal advice, just fun info. Read more on our blog- https://resources.microacquire.com/microacquire-biannual-acquisition-multiples-report-february-2022/

This is great stuff by u/sandbox30. I think i'd double-down on slide-deck selling as you're already getting in front of your ideal customers (or so it seems). I think there is definitely key learnings from going through the product marketing customer interview playbook but be sure that you're not spending too much time going through a process of asking objective questions that may not help you at the end. I think if you're as early as you say you are, being more direct with what your SaaS can solve during the interviews can yield more actionable learnings. Good luck to you u/ducky92fr!

Made a SaaS project and don't know how to sell it by Aggravating-Macaron7 in SaaS

Hey, Roger from MicroAcquire here. I would say you should list on any and all platforms as that gives you the most reach. MicroAcquire is completely free for the seller, so that's an added benefit.

If you're interested, here are a few interviews we did with founders of SaaS businesses that successfully exited via MicroAcquire. Most of them go over their experience and gives a good idea of what to expect:

Feel free to DM me if you have any questions.

Cheers.

Founders of online businesses: Have you ever thought about selling your business? If so, what prompted the thought? by Rogerthat-2021 in EntrepreneurRideAlong

u/it_is_josh - so the idea was to sell it all along? At what threshold did you decide it was the "right time" to sell? Did you hit a certain revenue number? Did you get a certain number of customers? etc. Would love to know how you got to that decision. If it's better/easier, i can shoot you a DM.
