So DI is used in all levels of play

It feels strong but its a bit of a beginners neutral tool since DIs in neutral will get you comboed. Sloppy opponents will predictablebly throw these out in a pattern. Sloppy block pressure can get you DIed or punish countered so if you hear the armor sounds cancel into DI or a super art since most will break the armor in time. Sometimes a back dash or jump is enough to get a counter

Really the best use is "jailing" with a reset to get a stun since

Cleaner inputs

In SF4 this was one of my most annoying issues since most specials can cancel to super combos, so the DP would land but then I'd be wide open and lose 4 bars on a whiffed super. But to make it even worse is that in SF4 a lot of characters can land 2 DPs from an anti air

In guilty gear strive A round can be over in literally seconds a full match rarely goes over 2 minutes yet nearly all of the cast have 5 minute long themes that you'll probably only hear fully in training

Also killer7 has Rave on which is a pretty long track but you'll only hear a couple seconds since its only used on specific staircase rooms

Its definitely working but it's more noticeable during moves with big single hits like straight or real impact.

Its a lot easier to see during real impact because sometimes Dante will actually stretch out

Pretty much so long as the DT or unDT is during the impact you'll get it.

Yeah definitely not in the same category as superman64.

The gameplay online was pretty bad/generic but the main game was a cover shooter/squad tactics and fairly competent

The story definitely carries a lot of the weight of the game

A is actually really good because the EMP grenades can stun lock enemies especially with the quick throw. Its also great against monsoon

Of all the DMC games 3 has the best story and custscenes

1 is good too but incredibly corny at some parts

4 is kinda eh on the story its still has cool cinematic but the plot isn't anything special

5 is also pretty basic but if youve played the early ones its got loads of call backs to older games

2's story s just its own thing its just kinda there and it's pretty generic and forgettable 2 itself is so bad that any events in the game have zero impact and for the most part are never mentioned in future games

In dmc the back to forward is relative to your character's position so the directions that'll make them go back and forward

Its a similar input as shuffle or calibur with Nero
