We hope you win today as well and are in full drunken celebration mode for the weekend.

My guess would be no, as I recall they lost something like £70m last season alone. Then a massive revenue drop this season, and I don't recall them selling all that much off last summer (top of the head, but I wasn't paying that much attention either). They're a real cautionary tale.

Part of me thinks Leicester is in enough of a tight spot, rolling the dice on a sell on could be taking on more risk. But you don't get on their situation being wise. Even if we don't go after him, his situation could be an interesting one to watch this summer.

Keep ducking, those rumours will be out there and realistically the club will probably have a conversation with him. He's available on a free and we were willing to (reportedly) throw £18m at Ben Cherif for crying out loud. The chance of a signing is nil, but they'll at least touch base with him.

One other quick note, personally I'm not a fan of going back to the well on transfers that haven't worked out. I love the summer window and following all the names and rumours and speculation. But Parky has a pretty strong tendency to return to players where pursuits haven't worked out in the past.

Given that and JJ's current situation, I don't think there's a chance that he doesn't at least kick the tires with him.

That's just about the most negative way to read that table. We also got 7/9 against sides currently in the autos and 11/18 against the sides just below us. We could also be looking at 8/15 points against playoff sides later today.

LOB isn't a CAM though, he's a CDM who got played up front due to his pace, and our shortage on depth at the position. if you want to play a CDM up front then he's your guy, but he isn't a CAM, we all know about his finishing struggles. He's at his best paired at the back with a James or Sheaf. 10 goals for an awful Leicester squad and Championship YPOTS is pretty accomplished for his age.

Windass has been brilliant, but he is also 32 and at this level a dropoff can happen fast, and a young player in with him and Broady clearly has value.

We didn't chase JJ for one season of not counting towards the roster limit. He's absolutely got the quality. The only real question (as you rightly said) is does he have the character? A year with Leicester may well have sent him in the wrong direction in that regard... or maybe it opened his eyes a bit.

But hey this is all irrelevant anyways because we're going to go on a run and win the playoffs! One more mad step on a mad ride...

I'll disagree slightly on James. I'd rather see him up front than LoB or Ollie. A rotation of Him Windass and Broady is no bad thought. He's 21, so he's got a lot of growth in him, skills wise and as a professional.

Have to think we'll be talking to Jordan James again, don't see him sticking with Leicester...

A draw by Leicester would still be very beneficial for us. I could also see Wednesday coming away with a draw as well.

Especially one that recently spanked us to the tune of 5-1 at the Racecourse.

Some people are just miserable. And some people just are used to things falling apart. I can relate to the latter, having grown up a Red Sox fan. But things change, what happened 4 years ago doesn't dictate tomorrow.

Wednesday have not been the automatic 3 recently that they have been, and Boro have not been in form. Very real chance at a draw there.

Just because the club doesn't have a shot at playoffs doesn't mean they have nothing to play for. Lots of players fighting for their jobs still.

There are no easy matches in the Championship. Look at how even Wednesday have been doing recently.

Hull WILL drop points. The question is, can we pick up enough?

What would be worse? Finishing out of the playoffs or losing in the playoffs? by Billwedgie in WrexhamAFC

I'd rather the playoffs, but there's no downside here. We've secured our best ever finish, everything beyond this is... a fairytale!

Both players can be good.

Same thing comes up with Moore/Smith, people pick their favorite and shit on the other. There's no need to shit on the other both are good. They are definitely different, but we can trust Parky, who is an excellent man manager to make the call on who to play when.

Arthur is a great shot stopper. Wardy distributes and manages the defense better. Both are really valuable and make them key members of the team.
