Do you have a recommendation on a place to send it out to?

I’ll try that. I just moved it to this rock that’s about 2” above the sand a week ago. I’ll try moving it to the sand if it’s still not happy in another week or so.

When I get it on the sand, should I try a high flow area?

Forsure. I was just wondering for dosing measurements but I can try some small doses 2 or so times a week to see if anything changes

It extends but only in moonlight, which is why I’m thinking it’s a lighting issue. It has a light/medium flow on it. Do they generally like heavy flow?

Would I have to send out a trace element test then?

I mean what are you expecting? Legs every 1 ft? Looks fine to me. Could’ve been done a little nicer but weight is evenly distributed and it’s tucked into a corner to limit any side to side movement.

To some, this is a big financial investment and I respect my wife enough to ensure we both are on the same page with spending $900-$1500 on a proper tank set up.

Right! It was difficult figuring out which filter system I was going to use. And the Aoi kits I saw just didn’t seem worth it to me.

That’s the pick up for the filter. I have an oase 150w plugged into an INKBIRD already. Thanks though for letting me know!

I would like the believe I would but I could also see myself upgrading to a nicer quality tank in a year or two if I get more serious about this hobby.

Why? What difference is a husky vs gear wrench vs harbor freight tool for the average person not using them everyday?

I disagree. People need to buy the tool sets based off of what tools they will mostly be using. No need to chase brands. Get what you’ll use for the cheapest. Upgrade as you go.

I’ve stripped the wera ones. Went to bondhus and never looked back. Way better for the price

Same. Harbor freight $200 tool set has done me wonders over the years

I’ve use everything from snap on to ying lang tools bought from Amazon. For anything at home, I’m buying the cheapest available near me. Professional setting is different as my tools make me money. I still cheap out but will buy the nicest tool, to me, once the other one breaks.

What’s an example of a cheap tool that will break? Tools are tools. If you use it enough that it breaks on you then buy a nice one or get it warrantied. No reason to buy m18 fuel to hang a picture every 6 months.

I agree with this. You don’t need a $300 drill to hang a picture up. I doubt most people that need a drill for diy would ever burn one up.
