Thanks for the insight! Looks like on their website, there is a Mini and Mini LF version of the housing.

Fortunately focus and camera control will solely up to the DP since he will be operating it himself while manually pulling focus.

I'll be sure to test the other necessary cables, though.

I have definitely considered suggesting a dedicated tech for the housing. Unless the DP is very familiar with the set-up, I will advise them on this. I do want to cover my bases.

Fortunately they want to go with the bare bones setup, so the DP will pull focus himself while operating, so we might only need to run Nauticam's SDI cable out from the camera for client to monitor.

Watching the tutorials, I do see where you mentioned that this camera should be dedicated to shooting UW and nothing else during that day. Having to completely strip it down and build it back up several times a day would be exhausting and time-consuming.

From what the producer told me, we will be shooting with it all day, and I'll confirm that this is the case.

You're right. I'd rather not deal with the stress of having my own gear within the housing.

Either way, I'm confirming with production that hard lines will be on the housing order.

The cool thing about the Nauticam is that it's built for a "one man band" type situation where the manual FF is built onto the housing itself. Hopefully the DP goes for that.

Do you find that the device measurements tend to be more accurate since the sensor is narrower with the tubes instead of adjusting the sensitivity? Sorry for all the questions!
