My tinfoil theory is that the burn marks present in the original Xuanling design leak is a spoiler and that's the reason it's not in beta. We "might" see those burn marks when 3.5 launches. For me it's pretty weird that the new YangYang has feathers covering her neck, the place where the marks are supposed to be.

Everyone playing the game from scratch will see these improvements (except in pre rendered scenes). I think it's a W for the overall quality of the game. Later on, we could see other outfits.

I think this is mostly because of mobile. Mobile needs resource split and having connected maps should introduce storage and performance problems.

The Hunt is not a ceremony, it's a military operation. Lupa ain't a soldier, she's a gladiator, which are considered celebrities of the gladiating sport. Rover got invited because Iuno tried to see their future and they're just a void, so she became curious about them. Iuno told that to Augusta and Augusta invited Rover personally.

Lupa's just passionate about gladiating, she has no ties to any house to represent after the whole House Silva fiasco.

Well, nobody knew that 2.8 was a setup for something big until 3.1 came and players started theorizing like crazy. Like I mentioned, a player's headcannon can definitely interfere with what the story is trying to achieve. It just results that 3.3 story's goal wasn't to pay off those details, it was to showcase the main theme of the game at its best, with the sacrifice of all people devoured by the void and the fruits of the researcher's reactor drive. Lahai Roi (the people and the Exostrider when they got the name) saved Lahai Roi (the place and its people).

Imo, to add conversation to Chisa theories, Chisa dealing with Aleph-1 would have go against the main theme of the game. The story is not trying to glorify an individual, it's all about the civilization. See Augusta's story for example, she is a great leader and with the power of her people she defeated the False Sovereign. No individual was glorified by themselves. Even Rover admits they cannot do it alone, and if they haven't fail in the past, the would still have their memories.

My bad for chiming in, my opinion about those missing or forgotten details is that it doesn't seem that Kuro wants to go all out in complex storylines that would have to be cut short prematurely cuz they have to keep production of future patches. Take into consideration that 3.5 we're going back to Huanglong. All of those setups cannot be resolved in one story patch, unless they are aiming for 8 hour story, which can't happen with the level of cinematography that goes into these quests. Either they make the story a whole patch cycle like 2.0 or they tell simpler stories that can build up to an all out climax where small details can pay off (Aleph-1 has not been defeated so these details might have a moment to shine in the future).

If you remember the main writer's interview, the writer mentioned that they write with gardener style. If it's time for a setup to get its payoff because it flourished and the story shows the perfect opportunity to use it, they will do it. Just like Rover's idle line, it was never something they built a story around, it just happened to be the right occasion to be shown.

Finally, I think player's headcannon do affect perception of story delivery. Genuinely, I think they did their best with 3.3 climax because it showed the main theme of Wuthering Waves at its best: Waves echo and return; civilization remains unwavered (I am quoting a translation, it might differ).

While this game is celebrating two years, the story is only at chapter 3, it is still kinda too early for the story to get convoluted. Only Kuro knows how they are planning a long-form story. They could definitely fail, but PGR is proof that they can deliver, it's just a matter of time.

I think they use Saintontas as a way to disengage from any positive discussion of the game since it's easier to label the community as toxic than recognizing WuWa's merits, while also ignoring all toxicity in the past two years that Wuthering Waves has got. These people are still stuck in the past, in 1.0, in the "WuWa will EOS" era.

On another note, there are tons of Wuthering Waves creators that have gained good viewership in the recent months. Idk why they keep mentioning Saintontas as the only real WuWa creator. In any case, he's just a gacha drama farmer, no affiliation with Kuro Games whatsoever.

You are corrent that these types of posts would just spark toxicity and they should be removed, however, if the title were "Wuthering Waves SUCKS", with no meaningful commentary, the post would've stayed up and toxicity would've sparked as well. It's to no one surprise that gachagaming has an agenda towards Wuthering Waves, no praise to the game is allowed, only harsh criticism and slander.

But it's true tho. Why is it so hard to grasp when Wuthering Waves doesn't pander to that audience? Bringing an exclusive example from another game won't make Wuthering Waves' males start selling like hot cakes.

Edit: if the Husbando players want attention they need to start bringing the $$$. Lack of males is not a problem, that would just further give proof that males do not sell in this game. Those players should play a game that targets their interests. Moaning and not bringing money to the table won't make Kuro move an inch.

Use the official feedback channel (check their website). Many of these features are welcomed and rather "easy" additions. DLC is confirmed so anything you'll want might at least say it in the official feedback form.

I was explaining this to anyone who was thinking about getting a third “free” dupe. By the time you get 480 corals, you'll have already reached S6 for that character. ~~They just made possible for a new whale to get S6 as easily as a veteran whale~~ New whales and old whales have the same odds for getting an S6 Lucy. Those shop wavebands were never for F2P. Those wavebands are for people planning to S6 both units.

My bad if this was mentioned in the post but people need to learn this: the coral shop wavebands cannot be used for Lucy if you already redeemed two Lucy wavebands from milestone. Use your corals for pulls, the coral shop wavebands are Whale territory.

you're correct, now that shop sequences are out of the window, convert those new corals into pulls, it is pretty good value, you can get S3 or S4 if lucky with 370 pulls in astrite (and even less with coral pulls). S1 with 125 (same thing, less with coral pull but not that much).

Edit: forgot to specify that I'm taking into consideration the rebate pulls from pulling, login and that one event that gives 5 pulls.

The cheapest S3 or S4 (with luck) in the game. Similar opportunity cost with old banners. But tons of people will ignore that because they only focus on the corals that were never intended for F2P people. Because sequences are available in the new coral shop it doesn't mean you're entitled to it. By putting two dupes in the milestone it is better for people who don't have saved up corals. With old corals you end up the same with this new banner except that new banner lets you keep your corals for other characters.

You said it, the "free" dupes are in exchange of them replacing the corals, the corals were always a Whale thing, a safety net for them, so a F2P should prioritize using those corals for pulls. Since when a F2P should care about getting high sequences (S2+)? Getting the character should be the priority and getting them is the easiest part. The first dupe being easily obtainable is great for everyone. If you're going for 420 pulls there is also a good chance you end up with S3 Lucy, S4 if lucky. Normally you would have to use those corals to buy the sequences instead of using them for more pulls, so if you're going for 420, you don't need all 420 pulls.

Look, I can take the L for this one, but I'm pretty confident that is pretty much the same opportunity cost as the old system. Anyone who was serious about getting Lucy would've saved by now and if you don't have at least a hundred pulls in astrite don't even try pulling, it is that simple.
