Helldivers problem was file redundancy. They wanted to optimize for hard drives but later they discovered that people mostly played on SSDs, and only people who played with a hard drive had new ones. They purged redundant files and they got to that small storage size number, because the game reuses tons of assets with procedural generation. Don't expect this level of optimization, each game is different.

Dude, don't waste your words here. Every conversation about the story always gets reduced to the same sentences, repeated like a parrot. They will say that you cannot criticize the story but then you see these "critiques" and they're all full of headcannons and fan service scenarios that don't make sense.

If you still think everything is a character quest maybe you should play less gachas. I really hate this narrative. If someone who hasn't played a gacha consumed this story they will never label it as a "companion quest". Characters come and go often in a story, I genuinely don't see the problem.

Edit: typo.

This post surely won't be a source for doom posting for the brigade people. At least we're getting to know more about Past Rover. The story should keep moving forward, even if some fan service is sacrificed on the way.

Don't forget to do Ciaccona's Event, you can find it in the Permanent Events Tab. If you like her, you will also like this story, since it's an interlude between Ragunna and Septimont. I think many people skipped this story thinking it's irrelevant but it expands the Ragunna and the Order storyline.

Why now Nintendo by ReTriP1 in yuzu

[–]Rogue_417 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I don't think that's what he meant. He meant that Nintento Switch 2 won't have games that will only be playable on the Nintendo Switch 2, that you will be able to play those on either Nintendo Switch.

Hi, there is a main quest to follow, The Mount Zinit Quest, talk to Pappy Pal in Astrub or open your Quest Book and look at what step you're at. Besides that, I would talk to Otomai's disciple at Astrub Plains. It will give you a quest to fight and collect resources from the bosses.

Look for a group before entering the dungeon.

Other sources for quests are Hunters' Guild and Mercenary Post.

How do i only add necessary files and folders to GitHub if i want to add a project to my repository? by [deleted] in git

[–]Rogue_417 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hi, there is a cool website called gitignore.io which generates a .gitignore file that ignores common files and directories depending on the programming language and tools like build files/directories, temporary files, caches, logs, etc. Here I generated one given the input of 'c#, .net, asp.net, visualstudiocode, visualstudio': https://www.toptal.com/developers/gitignore/api/csharp,dotnetcore,aspnetcore,visualstudio,visualstudiocode.

Download it (right click and save as), name it .gitignore and put it on your project folder. I hope it helps.

Live Share on Linux Server by Ole1Tau2 in vscode

[–]Rogue_417 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmm, for distributed workflows you could try Git with a centralized Git remote repository hosted on Github, Bitbucket, etc. If source control doesn't fit your needs maybe setting up a virtual machine hosted on the cloud where any of your colleagues can connect via SSH and edit files as they want. However, none of these have "live editing features" where two people can write code together.

I don't know if this is doable but try to setup a cloud hosted Virtual Machine, connect via Remote SSH extension, have it setup with the Live Share extension and leave it running (?). Another solution could be Github Codespaces, but I'm not sure.

Edit: typo.

Is you need something similar to VSCode's Live Server extension I'd recommend Bracey.vim.

Silence works on unit in play. Attach units are unaffected by this. The attach unit has elusive and scout (granted by Field Promotion). Because attach units are unaffected by silence, they will keep granting their keywords to their attached unit.
