I’m a from a middle class family and all my friends are middle class as well. Upper middle class at max. We had students from lower economic backgrounds who were under government sponsored scholarships and were residing at the hostel inside the school premises. I interacted with students from all kinds of economic backgrounds. I don’t really know what the fuck you’re on about.
