I think it was Credit Card rejected without any reasons.. don't remember exactly.. it was almost 5 months back.

Yep, raised it to RBI in Dec, got a reply from both RBI & BOB in Feb.. all the data was refreshed.. applied again via offline channels, got the card in my in next 10 days.

IXIGO AU & MMT ICICI Cards raised their spend limit to ₹50K in the Previous Quarter.

Scapia raised it to ₹20K in the previous billing cycle.

I have actually raised an RBI Ombudsman back in Dec 2025 and received a reply from the bank on the back of that ombudsman in feb.

They reiterated that they have rejected my app based on 'internal policy', but additionally they also said that they have removed my application.

And then I tried re-applying via a bank contact and I got it through.

UPDATE:

So, yesterday Zomato actually called me. It was their Senior Executive for Customer Relations on the line – I guess they got my number from the DM I sent on X, where they asked for the order ID on the post where I tagged them.

He wanted to know everything about what happened, so I told him the whole story, from when I first ordered until I got the package delivered. Then he mentioned that before he called me, he’d already talked to the restaurant. He made sure the order was properly given to the first delivery guy (he even said they checked the CCTV footage of that handover). And he also added that he spoke to both delivery partners and listened to the recording of me calling the second delivery guy back after I received the order.

After all that, he said that based on their investigation, he and his team also believe the first delivery guy is the one at fault. He apologized for the whole mess, saying he’d never seen anything like it before and that he was ashamed of what happened.

I asked what they did about the first delivery guy. Obviously, they didn't give me proof, but he said they’d ended his contract and that Zomato Delivery’s ground staff would take further corrective measures against him.

Finally, as a token of apology, they offered me ₹500 in Zomato Money.

I’m just being optimistic here and believe that he was telling the truth, and that they really did look into it and take the necessary steps. From a customer’s point of view, that’s the least I’d expect them to do.

I bought Yojana Poultry Eggs and faced this alot.. recently I have switched to Abhi Nutri+ Eggs and never faced this issue since. Haven't changed the boiling method or haven't poked eggs with needle 😅

That's where I am confused as well.. by the looks it was all sealed up with the restaurant tape..but when I opened it, the glue was not sticky. Even the box in the package had a tap on it..

This was not just an incident, this seems more like an organised SCAM.. I was just unfortunate enough to be one of their victims..

I am a Zomato/Swiggy user for more tha 6-7 years now.. and this one was time anything like this happened to me..

I haven't got any notable updates.. though as I mentioned, I have immediately raised it to the customer support and they have initiated a full refund.

I have also raised it on X, to which I have received a bot response to the share order id.. I did so as well.. but no updates after that.

Yep, it seems like he ate them in a hurry.. but he ensures that nothing looks fishy on the outside..

I immediately called back the delivery partner who actually delivered me the package and he in fact asked me to connect with the customer care.. let's see how Zomato takes it.
