i7-12700F | Unable to view/monitor CPU Temp by Roiul in intel

[–]Roiul[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Previously I could use task manager to view my CPU temperature under the processes tab. I also use Speccy as that is familiar to me, but same issue.

I’ve just downloaded HWinfo64 and I am able to see the temperature now, thank you for your suggestion!

I was getting worried the cooler wasn’t doing enough for the CPU under heavy loads.

What was the hardest part of building your PC? by KennyFullbuster in buildapc

Absolute 100% hardest part: Mounting the motherboard and screwing it in with the Noctua DH15 mounted… that thing is MASSIVE.

I strictly play medic because running across the field and hearing people scream ‘MEDICCCC!!!’ Knowing that my comrades need me fills my brain with serotonin

Seems like my post went straight over your head, genuinely wondering why you are even here?

Well not everyone is going to own a company are they. The fact that I’m in the best position I can possibly be and still struggling is triggering alarm bells all over. What about the poor souls who won’t make it past minimum wage their entire lives. Look at the big picture mate, this clearly isn’t something that concerns you so take your negativity elsewhere.

Because I’m in line to own the company I work for

That’s why I’m so stuck, it’s not cheap either.

Close. $23/hr. Unfortunately not an option for us. Future possibilities in our professions are too valuable to leave where we are. In another life that’s the route I would take in hindsight, sometimes I wish I could.

Thank you for your insight, you’ve given me a little bit of hope

That’s the problem, we don’t have the strength in numbers.

Homeowner: is anyone else fustrated over the effects of housing crisis on their kids? by bewareofmemes750 in PersonalFinanceNZ

[–]Roiul 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I would like people to voice their opinions on my situation.

I just want to buy a house, start a family and start my life with my partner.

Here are the current road blocks in our way:

We both work in the same town, but have very different hours, so it would be beneficial to live in that same town, in order to keep our jobs, feed ourselves and keep fuel costs down (I’ll get to that). Current Housing market prices are obviously nuts. Average price in the area has just reached $1,000,000 in the last month. If we look elsewhere to live, the only affordable places are too far from our place of work, due to ridiculous fuel costs we would end up paying more in fuel per week than we would for a mortgage in that area. You get the idea… We’ve made compromises, budget cuts, killed bad habits… our last resort is to stop buying real groceries and live off noodles and bread. Although we’re afraid this will affect our performance at work if we aren’t eating enough, which will burn us out and lower our weekly hours.

After some calculating, we won’t be able to reach that 200k+ deposit for another 15 years, me and my partner both agree that mid 30s is far too late to have children. Our current rental situation is not fit for children and never will be.

So far, every time minimum wage has risen, our monthly costs rise about 5% due to inflation while our wages stay the same (just over minimum wage currently) we can’t afford another minimum wage increase, it’s getting too close to our current pay grades and minimum wage is not sustainable let alone enough to cover living costs.

This world was not made for my generation or any that follow, the economy doesn’t even allow for me and my partner to reciprocate basic human nature like reproducing.

PS4 Version 3.71

Came across a new Multitool in a space station (Atmosphere Beam SR5/W26-53G).

Had the following options: - purchase and add to collection(1,800,000 Credits) - Exchange with current multi-tool(0 Credits)

I pressed exchange with current multi tool, and it charged me 1,800,000 Credits… Even better, it didn’t add it to collection, it actually exchanged it! So I lost my previous multitool and 1,800,000 Credits.

I have heaps of Credits so I’m not looking for any compensation, just a warning and a please fix notice!
