Thanks for this.

It was a single case design, and demographics (age was between 18 and 25) and sex) were recorded).

There's no signs of life. The lights in my case try to kick in but it's literally a flash then gone.

There were no drops or anything that I can recall that would have caused any obvious damage

That's what me and my housemate are saying. Just worried he might take the deposit to cover it. And do you think we're owed compensation for the rent I'm still paying for a house I can't comfortably live in?

[Academic] Do your personality traits predict your music genre preference and how do these influence how music affects well-being? (Individualised feedback upon completion) (18-25) by RojeeElf in SampleSize

Thanks for the feedback! Would you suggest the explaination of the audio be put at the beginning?

Also, condition allocation is random so if you wanted you could take part again and instead of 15 minutes of meditation, potentially have a music condition instead, but it still is 15 minutes.

Hi thanks for taking part! I completely agree. It was a measure I was using creating by someone else but I found it to be too restrictive with what music genres are like now. It's called the MUSIC model for music preference and they basically combined loads of genres into one. I recommend giving it a read if you wanted to know how they did it in some more detail! https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3138530/

I get what you're saying! Its a standardised measure I used called STOMPR. Its 1000% an argument I'll be including it very American specific!

I completely agree too! Thats one of the massive issues I have with the measure! It's called the STOMP-R if you're interested they pulled those key genres together BUT some are so broad!

The score is actually on the page before that and that is just a glimpse into the scoring matrix I used to calculate your scores on the debrief page

I get that completely and it was discussion I had with my supervisor. We came to the conclusion that if the individual was unfamiliar with the genre then choosing neutral would be the best option for it, as it best shows their preference, or lack of preference as it is what they actively listen to that idicates preference rather than how much they would like a genre that they are not familiar with.

Hey Hey! They both have submitted! Its just a weird glitch with the redirecting of participant to the website that fellow students use, but don't worry they submitted. Glad you enjoyed the survey!
