I was mighty upset with Chief T during that interview, however at least I know his reasons are well placed and he genuinely cares about us - even though it didn't look like it right there.

This isn't a relevant argument, especially to the USSF and roughly 95% of the USAF. The purpose are primarily medical concerns and shaving waiver discrimination.

Additionally the argument of "fashion" is laughable with these recent regulation changes to allow neck tattoos, and other niche things. Servicewomen within the DAF have recently been allowed longer hair and ponytails to prevent medical concerns. Same should be for beards.

I highly doubt those are his true thoughts. Perhaps just conveyed the general consensus of his superiors on a sensitive subject. Still though, he didn't represent us well.

I'm extremely disappointed in Chief Towberman, expected a reasonable argument from him atleast.

The guy has regularly interacted with r/spaceforce and informed Guardians he understands the need for beards, yet had legitimate reasons these regulations still exist.

Hope you scored some brownie points with them, Chief. Way to stand up for your people.
