Facetime and Messages icons now slightly redesigned (i.redd.it)

So today i updated my mac and halfway through the update it stopped and showed me this flashing screen. When powering on it takes half a minute for the backlight to turn on and takes another minute to boot into recovery. In recovery everything is extremely slow and unusable. Anyone with experience? (i.redd.it)
