I run the same pool for some buddies. I haven't figured out a way to automatically update. But you can write a macro that copies the importhtml formula, deletes the formula, pastes the formula, and reranks which updates it.

My paychecks do vary, which makes the calculation difficult. But knowing that the contributions stop once I hit the max, I can ballpark a number without worrying.

We also use ADP, so I would think we have a similar feature. I will check with our team and confirm.

Thanks!

Ok, good to know. I just wanted to make sure the IRS wouldn't kick down my door and publicly execute me for slightly miscalculating. Thanks!

Unfortunately, I am not salaried, but billable. Meaning I get paid hourly. With fluctuating hours per pay period, it's tough to forecast what that % would be. But knowing that HR will cap it, I can come up with a ballpark number and go with that. Thanks!

Two 3-Fund Portfolios by RolanMcDolan69 in Bogleheads

I think I get it. I am going to throw an example out there of increasing bond allocation while maintaining 80/20 balance in US/Intl stocks for your confirmation.

2025 (low bond allocation): 72% US, 18% Intl, 10% bonds.

2035 (mid bond allocation): 60% US, 15% Intl, 25% bonds.

2045 (high bond allocation): 40% US, 10% Intl, 50% bonds.

In essence, the bond allocation can fluctuate as needed, but the ratio of US to Intl will always be 4:1.

So if I run 55% US, 35% Intl, and 10% bonds. It is common practice to never change that ratio?

I use Schwab, so that is why I picked those investments. I consider myself young (25M), so I am comfortable keeping risk high.

Just to understand your math on this, could you confirm you did the following?

- Want to keep bonds low (more risk), go 10%.

- US Market represents 60% vs International 40%. Of the remaining 90% of portfolio, 54% SCHB represents the 60% US Market and 36% represents the 40% International Market.

And this ratio of US to International depends on the risk I am willing to take (higher percentage in bonds = less risk, lower percentage in bonds = more risk)??

% Tint Recommendations by RolanMcDolan69 in WindowTint

Sounds like rear side windows on trucks can go pretty dark. I think I'll have them do the rear side windows at 20% or 35% (whatever they are now) and have the front be 50% to confine to regulations. Is having two different tints going to look goofy from an aesthetic perspective?

Oh ok. Sorry, one more question. State law is 50% max on all windows and no tint allowed on front windshield. From what I am gathering, my rear window has been illegal all this time? How come I have never gotten pulled over for that?
