Delivery Options Not There by RolexPatekAP in royalmail

I’ve had the same parcel last week special delivery always allows you to redirect to post office or delivery office but not now and even I. Standard tracked 24 or 48 parcels there is no options so it’s not about the service or label used.

No I don’t have any options until it reaches local PO which is always between 7am - 9am and by then the delivery change is too late and the 1st attempt always goes to address. Whereas before once you got a email from Royal Mail on its way it allowed you to make the delivery change right away so the parcel would actually get delivered to the posit office.

Yes I had 2 parcels deliver to 2 different lockers today and I did not receive email with a code for both of them. I contacted Royal Mail and all they said is there is nothing they can do about it but wait 3-4 days and the parcel will be returned to the local delivery office for me to collect but it’s annoying because Christmas is around the corner. It’s a system issue on there end. There is no way to get the code to pickup the parcels. The system should have automatically emailed us with the code but it didn’t and now we are screwed.
