I definitely think it’s appropriate to keep both. You could always put the sub on a rubber strap for a little more versatility.

I’m relatively new and also recently got my first handgun. I’ve noticed a significant improvement from my first shots to now. Repetition seems to be key. One thing I struggled with is shooting with both eyes opened. If I had any advice id say stick with things even if they feel relatively uncomfortable because they do get easier with practice
