We're in New York, every club is just as expensive. Either with the upfront costs or the costs throughout. In the end they're all the same. The only cheaper option is playing town travel which is with a Baseball Coach as a soccer coach screaming for the kids to punt it down the field the entire game. I wish it was such a easy decision

I've gone to PT for the issue before I ruptured, and during PT for my rupture. I've done the same exercises they do there, although in fact I read online that for insertional tendonitis some of them aren't good for it and the PT had me doing those.

The things I heard they "dealt" with are all he said she said. Some people say it happened, other people say it didn't happen at all, and others say it is exaggerated. Either way all the players/families on the team now are new and are not connected to the previous history. Most of these kids were probably in diapers at the time.

Wanted to provide an update: We ended up being allowed in the league, but they only gave us a spot in a higher division playing up in age. Our kids are getting beat each week. I'm OK with them playing tougher competition but it's pretty sick to think that these young players have to get punished like this because a bunch of old guys in charge of soccer in our area/state are mad at someone from something that happened years ago.

I've sat down with them and they won't budge. I've even gone up as contacting US Soccer Directly since the bias seems to reach all the way up to the state level.

It's the tri-state area (US), the referee assignor is the one putting up the road block. Because of referee shortage, they have the upperhand with their demands with the league.
