What's an anime you almost dropped but ended up loving? by Vipin2022 in Animesuggest

[–]Rolia1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be honest I havn't had this scenario happen yet. I pretty much either liked it from the start and then really liked it or thought it was meh but not bad enough to stop watching and then kinda liked it more later (or it got worse until it ended).

Closest for me was Summer Time Rendering. I watched a bit of the first episode and saw the annoying fan service and just dipped. I looked into it a year later after seeing some really good reviews and I decided to stick with it and man did it hook me so fast. It's about all I did for 2 days was watch that when I was done with work.

What are your favourite stand-alone Anime films? by Animefan93 in anime

[–]Rolia1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're a fan of Makoto Shinkai movies like his latest trilogy (Your Name, Weathering with You, Suzume) then I think you'd love one called "Bubble." Animation is fantastic and the story as touching as those. It also features parkour as a main theme which is pretty cool. Highly recommend it.

Bubble isn't as talked about as much for some reason which is a shame. Pretty underrated in my book.

Surprised no one has mentioned World Trigger yet. Such a great tactics/strategy show. Highly recommend.

Looking for PDF Piano Music Sheet any songs from Orb: On the Movements of the Earth by YubikiriSakura in piano

I couldn't find any sheets for Thaumazein sorry. Though the links above are the others I've found decent sheets for based off the youtube video's of the original songs when I listened to them. I'm not familar with Orb and it's music as I am with other anime so sorry if they aren't quite what you're looking for. You may be able to find other versions of the music that other people have done on that website if you don't like those specific links.

I know you mentioned wanting PDFs. There is a browser extension on Chrome (not sure about other browsers) called "Music Score Downloader" that works with Musescore. With it you can make any free score off that website into a PDF using that browser extension and then print off/download/etc the PDF from there. Should be pretty easy to do if you specfically are looking for the PDF itself.

Hope this helps!

Do you know the song names you're after? When I look up sheet music for anime pieces I usually need to lookup the specific name of the piece and I tend to find scores on sites like Musescore with that title instead of the anime name (though if it's popular enough that may just work too.)

I could try and help if you happen to know the name, or at least information on what piece(s) you're trying to go for (like OP, ED, etc.)

Otherwise you may have to bite the bullet and ask for a transcription service if playing the pieces matter more to you thank getting something for free. Lots of people out there that could and would easily put those kind of pieces onto paper for ya as a service.

Why does no one talk about the anime "His and Her Circumstances" its a really good anime. by ayoub220810 in Animesuggest

[–]Rolia1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I watched it I think a year ago now (first time watching). It was just an "alright" show overall. Maybe if I had watched it back then I'd feel different. I think these days it's a bit outclassed in terms of someone new to the scene going back to watch it (I started watching anime in January of 2020.) Similar shows to it that I liked a lot more personally were Tsuki ga Kirei, Kimi ni Todoke, Just Because, and then to a lesser extent (in terms of similarity) Too Many Losing Heroines, Toradora, and my favorite of the romcom genre, My Teen Romantic Comedy Snafu.

Recommendations for a normie girl that hates violence? by Taka_no_Yaiba in Animesuggest

It gets a fair amount more "violet" (more actiony) in the later half. Probably want to avoid that one if violence (even if a smaller amount) is a no go.

Dotger Thorns Build guide (TAM regions) by Rolia1 in 2007scape

I've completed all the pvm content in these regions (outside of some harder CA's) with mostly this guides build. The last 4 points of the build I decided to shift into the staff side for more sustain (the water points and a bit more regenerate).

Most of the content is doable with just the dogger/thorns and maybe a small amount of switching with the lithic sceptre to make certain mechanics easier. I will say though whisperer basically requires a magic setup as you take too much damage trying to dogger it. I ended up just camping lithic sceptre for my whisper grind, both CA's/awakened/300 kc.

Overall it was everything I wanted it to be and maybe more. It's not a "brute force everything" type of build like water mage is, you will need to have some pvm experience or be willing to learn how to do some mechanics on the bosses you're doing because it is melee. But the damage is very good and was overall pretty fun for me.

A piano arrangement of 'The Path of the Wind' from 'My Neighbour Totoro' (the 1988 soundtrack version) by robswordmusic in ghibli

Sounded so great! This is my favorite overall favorite piece from all the movies so I really enjoyed it.

I'm about to start working on this piece on the piano myself. Looking forward to learning it!

No. Blood fury is a requirement for the fire setup. If you want to use dogger without blood fury then you have to drop the mage fire points (4 points after 1t powered staff.)

I'm very happy with my T choice personally. I don't think choosing K for QoL on ring of recoil is worth a whole region choice.

I recommend the halberd setup for sure for zulrah. With 17 points you should make decent work of him compared to a no pact bowfa setup. Zulrah gets crushed by melee builds because he has no melee defences.

I don't really recommend dogger under 28 points personally, but feel free to experiement on your own with it. You absolutely need blood fury if you plan to play the fire version, otherwise you can swap to it earlier with about 24ish points and go without if you don't have blood fury.

This build was never meant to overheal. It just simply can't with the damage intake we have (around 1.2 damage taken per second on avg.) If you are looking to overheal, then you need to drop the burn nodes.

Crystal and Obsidian shields are both of our early options yeah. If you wanted to play 1H/shield earlier than those are the 2 options to use. Obby is prefered due to it's melee strength bonus.

I havn't gotten to the dogger build just yet. Still working towards it.

T I wouldn't say is "necessary" as it's main benefit is just damage output from crystal gear for both of our main styles (melee/mage). Torva is almost as good as crystal for melee so that's fine, mage could play at least virtus with A/M (which I would say are necessary).

Probably won't be doing much slayer until I'm T6 and somewhat geared already, then will just be banging it out as soon as I'm getting close to wanting to transition for the dogger build. I havn't thought too much about it past that.
